MySpace LayoutsTremor was initialized in the bedroom of lead/rhythm guitarist Terrance Sahatoo in 1999. Its original conception was brothers Terrance (ex Infernal Death) and Andre on guitars, neighbor Dave (ex Denizen) on bass and friend Rishi (Psychorish) on vocals. After landing a fixed drummer Steve Ali several months after, an official band kicked off. A line up of Stephen Dorman replacing Andre, and Safraz Hosein replacing Dave Boodhai prompted Tremor’s debut gig at Vortex Studio’s The Inauguration in October 2000. They played a few gigs after until Evan Moon was recruited to temporarily replace Rishi during his exams and Anil Besessar replacing Safraz. Evan had proven the better suited vocalist for the band’s style of metal and was made the official lead vocalist of the band. Rishi continued as a second vocalist but leaned more towards managing the band. As the band progressed, Tremor went through a number of member changes including the departure of its original front man. Further changes included Kahlil Adam Cassie (Necropollis) on rhythm axe, Adam Reid on the skins and Andy Heraman (former Ancient Glory) on lead/rhythm. In summer of 2003 new drummer Sheldon Dookhoo joined and along with Evan encouraged Rishi to reunite with the band. Together they piloted the band through its 6 song demo CD ''Crawl from the Wreckage'' in February 2004. After “Crawl” was released, Sheldon’s understudy Daniel took over the skins. In recent times the latest addition Premchand Samsundar is handling the rhythm axe. Crawl From The Wreckage was their first attempt at a demo. Although a low budget project there were reviews coming as far as Germany commending on the theatric Heavy Metal influences. February 7th 2004 was the official CD launch party at the Samaan Tree Bar which was proven a huge success and an unforgettable “lime”. This gave way to further motivate the band into more writing. Expect their upcoming recording which may be out by December 2006, the self titled album “Tremor”. The first release, “J” has been getting excellent reviews and air play on a local radio station. Tremor’s style boast of power/trash metal with a twist of classic and modern heavy metal tossed with melodic vocals.
