About Me
The three musicians met while traveling in a gypsy circus...
While chatting over absinthe after a particularly titillating show in Amsterdam, they began to discuss music and pageantry. By the end of the night, they were making beautiful music together...
Jacques ][:
Jacques ][ had a difficult time growing up under the shadow of his estranged father, legendary french-canadian folk artist, Jacques Labrecque. He began experimenting with strings at a young age and became hypnotized by the sweet hum of the cello. Since he began, he has studied with some of the most prestigious musicians of our time. At the age of 14.5, he graduated from Juilliard with a dual degree in musical performance and modern dance (with a focus on tap). In addition to the cello, Jaques also enjoys playing guitar, the lute, and chess (while racing motor bikes). He one day hopes to own an orginal '93 Jeep Wrangler from the Blockbuster film Jurassic Park as well as a secret island which he will populate with dinosaurs, unicorns, and humdogs.
Tarrou:
As the daughter of an opera singer and guitar virtuoso, Tarrou spent her childhood surrounded by music. She has played guitar for nearly half of her life, and has sung for its entirety. Although music is her most intense passion, Tarrou also has a love for a variety of other disciplines and has won numerous awards in the fields of language, visual arts, social sciences, and interpretive dance. In addition to music, Tarrou also enjoys spinning fire and competitive frisbee. Currently Tarrou is working as the above-ground contact for the the Intronational Union of Interpretive Dancers of Detroit and is conducting the scientific research necessary to help Jaques populate his secret island with dinosaurs, unicorns, humdogs.
Ian
The band met its newest addition while receiving exotic Swiss massages from him during their latest trip to Malaysia. In addition to his beautiful melodies and tantalizing finger tips, Ian possesses many skills such as whale calling, exotic chickens, and practices extreme walking. In addition to a photographic geographic memory, he also love children and mothers. We are happy to have him with us.
Tovio:
Tovio has spent most of his life performing. Born into an indigenous tribe in Alaska, Tovio has studied around the world and picked up many unique and disturbing talents. He obtained his percussive skills in Brasil and Kenya where he mastered a number of sensual native instruments. In addition to music, Tovio has pursued a successful career in male-mustache-modeling and porn. Currently, he is studying under David Coverdale, working on developing a synthetic musical language, and mastering a number of stunning circus feats. Within the next seven months he will be finishing up a five year contract with Just For Men and begining his search for a wife! He is currently on hiatus with the band, researching string theories.
