Escape By Dawn

Escape by Dawn was formed in 2008 by the record producer and artist known as Seven. The creation of Escape by Dawn reflects a transition in the music being created: “I want to take the music in a different direction, focussing more on solo projects and producing original material”.
The hip hop/trip hop style music of Escape by Dawn involves experimentation with different sounds and mixing genres. Influenced by past experiences, his work is almost autobiographical. He believes: “For me personally, music is a way of escape and the ultimate form of emotional expression". Escape by Dawn has been described as "a deep emotional sound".
The Identity Crisis EP will be the first release from Escape by Dawn, with the intention of establishing himself as a solo artist whilst also collaborating with other talented artists such as Emilie, Spitz, Brother Beatbox and Brassik.
After the completion of the Identity Crisis EP, Escape by Dawn will record a full length studio album, which will be released in record stores under the Staveley Records label. The next album aims to feature more original production, more experimentation, and to push the boundaries of music even further…
