Cool/interesting people in the Louisville area.Anyone interested in filmmaking in any capacity.
almost everything!, (just not a fan of modern country). Some of my favorites are (not in exact order), Jason Mraz, (Live at Java Joe's is my favorite cd), John Mayer, Mae, Sleeping at Last, David Lamotte, Jamie Barnes, Noizejoi, Cabin, The Fray, Copeland, Jack's Mannequin, Jimmy Eat World, Christopher Dallman, Missy Higgins, Tristan Prettyman, Dredg, Snow Patrol, Keane, Rilo Kiley Something Corporate, Coheed and Cambria, Ari Hest, Guster, The Album Leaf, Chantal Kreviazuk, Augustana, The Postal Service, ... but there are many more! I realize that a lot of these bands are well known, but that's what I was into first and it stuck with me. I do like more progressive and less popular stuff, and many others that get little to no commercial radio play. I have an extensive music collection (last count of CDs was around 700 + many songs I've downloaded). Generally speaking, I like music with meaning and substance that I can relate to. I also like music that I can groove to and music that soothes me. I love shopping flea markets and such for cheap cds. I'm always willing to listen to new music. Any suggestions?
I love movies! Everything from films that portray life as it is to the most imaginative fictional worlds. I can find something that I like about every movie I see. I believe that movies have greatly influenced American culture since their introduction. I can talk about films and their implications/influences for hours. When asked, I always tell people that my favorite is, The Shawshank Redemption, . It's so well rounded and beautiful. On a personal note, I'd like to produce several short films in my life and one day direct a feature film. I'm currently in pre-production for a couple of concepts I've developed.
I don't watch TV because of commercials, but I like the DVD versions., Family Guy, Fraiser, Lost, Boy Meets World, The Wonder Years, The Office, (both versions), Extras, Freaks and Geeks, Becker.
I'm starting to fall in love with reading. Now that I have time to read, I want to do it all the time. I've realized that I can read about any topic that I can think of and that's exciting. There's so much to learn and I can't wait! A good book is so exciting!
My dad and Superman (I often confuse the two).
