DANGER INVITES RESCUE

Wagner v. International Railway (232 N.Y. 176) was a case in 1926 which established a common law ruling which stated "Danger Invites Rescue...The wrongdoer may not have foreseen the coming of a deliverer. He is accountable as if he had." Although this essentially means that the rescuer can recover for damages from a defendant when they are injured rescuing someone, we also interpret it to mean that Music and Culture of today is the DANGER and the People in our everyday lives are seeking Rescue. If you reflect on the big movements of the past such as the Renaissance and the Enlightenment, they were all driven by some type of a Artistic movement. Albeit some of them were not vastly impressive in their artistic representation, they were all backed by a powerful message of change. As Artist we feel some responsibility to speak out against the things that we feel have been sacrificed and make an effort to change what we see as a failing state of affairs. Danger Invites Rescue is our vehicle for such action.
