Anyone who needs a friend!! I've learned how valuable true friends are. But no grodie stuff - please! I also trust God with a future partner, so sorry I am not shopping - my Dragon Slayer is out there somewhere! With as many young girls as I have challenged to purity over the years, it’s ironic that I find myself, at 44, making the same commitment. I have recently kissed conventional “dating†goodbye in exchange for “courting.†Courting doesn’t sound as much fun, but it will keep you out of trouble. After being married for 15 years, and at my age (hormones going crazy and all), the temptation can be copious. It’s tough! My Pastor has agreed to be my spiritual Daddy, and help me hold out for God’s best.In the meantime I am in a serious relationship with the original Dragon Slayer. Love Old Movies - Classics! Sci-Fi, Adventure, Mystery.....3 of my favs are: Meet John Doe, it's an old black and white Capra film, Foul Play with Chevy Chase & Goldie Hawn, and most recent The Notebook!!
Television:
I don't watch much TV these days. When I do it's usually Fox or CNN for news, HGTV and then cartoons with the kids. LLLLove Jimmy Neutron and Danny Phantom!!!
Books:
I'm into "self help" and inspirational books these days. Sound Boring? Rebuilding your life can be a tough but acheivable challenge! I am devouring Blue Like Jazz by Don Miller these days. My good friend Mark turned me on to this author and renaissance man. Please dive into this book and enjoy the music.
Heroes:
Jesus - by all means!! Corrie Ten Boom, US Military Troups, Billy Graham, Mother Theresa and all those who daily sacrifice themselves for others.........
