SYNCERE whoes Birth Name Eddie Alonzo Swain, was born september 20th 1987. The oldest of two, was raised in both West and East Oakland California as a quiets, humble and very conscience person all through out his youth. Never known as a popular person, with few friends, he mostly stayed to himself. Though he moved from one broken neighborhood to another, he never came from a broken home, his mom was always there for him no matter the situation to help guide in the right direction. Growing up as a average juvinile in the ghetto, Syncere was exposed to the presence of drugs, alcohole and the way of life in Oakland at a young age. Inspired by such rappers like Tupac, Nas, Dmx, Kurupt and many others, Syncere started exploring the talent of writing songs in the 9th grade at 14 years old. Even though syncere started at 14 had not been for his mom, whom encourage him greatly to keep going, he says he would have stopped writing a long time ago. The first time Syncere came in contact with a studio, he was also 14, though back then his rap name was Lojik, with an unstructured and amatuer style delivery, Syncere was still able to pull through with 2 or 3 good songs but lost touch with a studio connection. Over the years his writing and rapping improved effecently, at the age of 17 he changed his rap name from Lojik to IQue and also regained that connection with another studio, he started creating mixtape songs which ultimately were never released. Getting more and more into his new found talent, Syncere started a rap group called the Caliban, creating a mixtape entitled "We Go Hard" but also was never released. As soon as Syncere turned 18 he sought out his own label in which he achieved Called TownHouseMuzik, and while under that label, The Caliban put together an Album Entitled "FLAGS UP", but also was never released because of the groups unfortunate break up. Months later, Syncere comes back with a new solo album entitled "By Any Means Necessary", and a new group called "The East Bay Veterans" Syncere hopes to be able release to album sometime in the Summer of 2007.................................................more to come
