Okay, I know what your thinking. Why do I want to read Will's about me section? Why? Ill tell you why, because its freaking awesome. So read it.
Where should we start.. well, uhh, yeah I am 15 years old. I will be 16 on June 29th since thats my birthday. I play the guitar and have been playing for years. I record a lot of music and since I have low self-esteem and I don't want you to hear me sing poetry I wrote about girls that go to our school I post non-serious music of mine on this music myspace page .
What music do I listen to? Well I'll tell you. I generally listen to music with singers that are slightly off pitch. Meaning, I will not listen to someones voice that would win American Idol. I respect the voices of Bob Dylan and Gordan Gano from the Violent Femmes. Besides singers I like songs with drums that don't stand out and blend in with the song to give it "flavor". Some examples of these artists would be Travis Barker from Blink-182 and Patrick Wilson from Weezer. Looking at Guitar and Bass I like them to go along with the song and not be the "main" instrument in a song. I do like it when the Bass stands out at times. My favorite genres range from Folk Punk to Post Hardcore. I cannot name a favorite band because I go through them faster than I do a pack of gum. One week I will over-listen to someone and than switch to an entirely different artist. It all depends on my moods and my outlook on life at the moment. One thing I can say is that its been almost a year now and non-stop I have listened to the bands Weezer, Violent Femmes, and My Chemical Romance. They really make my day.
Lets put aside music and move on to who I am. Who is Will Markow? Well that is not easy to answer. I am a critical person at times, I am going to go to college in New York City and major in Music. I plan on becoming a musician/singer-songwriter. If all else fails, I will be minoring in business so that I can earn some cash and invest in a record store/music store/recording studio/stage/chill sort of coffee shop with lounge chairs and guitars you can play whenever.

And it starts sometime around midnight or at least that's when you lose yourself for a minute or two. As you stand under the bar lights and the band plays some song about forgetting yourself for a while and the piano's this melancholy sound check to her smile. And that white dress she's wearing, you haven't seen her for a while
But you know that she's watching. She's laughing, she's turning. She's holding her tonic like a crux. The room suddenly spinning, she walks up and asks how you are so you can smell her perfume. You can see her lying naked in your arms.
And so there's a change in your emotions and all of these memories come rushing like feral waves to your mind of the curl of your bodies like two perfect circles entwined and you feel hopeless, and homeless and lost in the haze of the wine.
And she leaves with someone you don't know, but she makes sure you saw her, she looks right at you and bolts. As she walks out the door, your blood boiling, your stomach in ropes and when your friends say "what is it
you look like you've seen a ghost"
And you walk under the streetlights and you're too drunk to notice that everyone is staring at you and you so care what you look like. The world is falling around you.
You just have to see her
and you know that she'll break you in two..
