Ham-Bone is an up and coming artist from Central Texas whose lyrics might not dazzle you such as Jay-Z or Nas, but will sit and make you think about shit that's going on in your life like Z-Ro or Big Pokey. He has been rapping since the age of 12 and has won numerous awards for his freestyle performances such as Artist of the year (Stephen F. Austin University), 12 time freestyle battle champ (Axxcess Nightclub), and many more to say the least. In late 2004 Ham-Bone joined up with the infamous Green-City to work on a few projects. While working with Green-City, The Source magazine was touring the country and looking for the best groups in Texas to be rewarded with attending the Texas Summer Music Conference in Dallas, Texas and also be premiered in the historic magazine. After 3 hard-fought rounds, Green-City claimed the title and went on to take the championship back to Killeen, Texas. Shortly after the win, tensions in the group started to seperate the group slowly but surely. Ham-Bone felt the group was allowing other rappers to join the group while the group was still trying to reach it's own stardom. Eventually Ham-Bone and Green-City parted ways, but he still remains friends with majority of the group and plans to work with Big Spade, Mike Hee, M.J., J-Scott, and Spark Dawg again.Currently Ham-Bone is collaborating with long-time friend and fellow hooper, The Mayor to unleash the highly anticipated label appropriately called "Counted Out Records, which he is certain will put Killeen, Texas back on the map for good where it rightfully belongs.Ham-Bone appreciates any advice or comments you may have for him, just don't hate because a nigga is trying to do something positive, but the music speaks for itself.
