Fed-up, born Robert Majewski came into this world in 1979, living a normal happy childhood Rob was in every sense your typical happy fun loving child...until one day something snapped. Rob completely lost it. His mind had been lost and his paranoia had taken control over his every thought, emotion, and action. Feeling backed in to a corner Rob divulged little if any of himself to a single soul. Insanity plagued his mind. He seemed like a man possessed, driven by evil and motivated by music. A centinal of destruction, Rob was tired and he was Fed - up, of the government, of the music industry, of the aristocrats, and of people. "Im sick of this f**king system, man im tired of being imprisoned," these lyrics taken from the song, No turning back. The song describes in detail the life of Rob and his many feelings. In 1997 Rob met Jay, from the pure rage occurred an onslaught on everything that made the world wicked was concurring. The leaders of an underground revolution and the Kings of the decaying.
Medula was originally formed from the remnants of a Metal rock group by the name of S.C.R.I.P.T.U.R.E, Badluck Jay was looking for something new after tiring from the run of the mill. He was tired of category's, he wanted something original. His life was a story he needed to tell, his faults, his errors, his insanity, his passion, his every word flows like truth, and offers warning to those bringing decay upon the world. His style was in every way complimented by the Intense and emotion filled lyrics delivered from his counterpart, Fed- up.
In 2002 The two went into an abandoned mental asylum deep in the backwoods of Delaware, though a tape recorder was brought following the two musicians every step and offering witness to the words and experiences they would experience along the way, No one really knows what happened in this mental asylum. Two men went in and Two different men came out. Theres eyes blackened reflecting the bottom and the depths of there souls, told the story of something not of this earth occurring. Whatever happened the two remained forever changed, showing no emotion, no compassion, no love, no feelings of humanity, no fear, and no mercy.
The group began long stays in there recording studio formed in the back of Badlucks trailer, recording a project at the time which was dubbed The Fifth Horseman of the Apocolypse. The end result was the debut album, 2004's Brainwashed. With an 8 year long period of warnings, radio interviews and gathering people to help bring this uprising to an apex, Medula established a somewhat cult following, establishing fan bases throughout the United States and Canada. In the first 4 months of its release, with no distribution at all BRAINWASHED sold 5,000 copies in Delaware alone. The group then began a string of nationwide shows in support of there release, playing in Ohio, Maryland, Philadelphia, Delaware, Michigan, New Jersey, New York and up and down the rest of the east coast, Medula soon began gaining fans for the experience of their ever energetic live shows. Playing with seasoned national acts including, The Insane Clown Posse, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Members of the Blood Hound Gang, and many other relatively successful national acts. Medula had become acclaimed for there live shows and were immediately booked in many states, and the success of Medula has been rising ever since. "Medula puts on an incredibly theatrical live show the likes of which can only be seen or matched on Broadway. - Spark Magazine"
