My name is Homer Garza, I am a native of the Rio Grande Valley, I currently reside in Mission, Texas. I have lived in Los Angeles, California where I pursued an acting career, Fraternity Vacation (1985) New World Pictures, Paramedics,Vestron Pictures (1987). I have dreamed of being an entertainer all of my life and now I get to do that for a living, what more could I ask for. The biggest influence in my life was the movie "Grease", I saw it when I was , ok no need for numbers, I saw it 52 times that Summer of 78', at The Border Theater in Mission. I used to volunteer to usher(the worlds youngest Balcony Usher if I may add) the balcony (make out city , it was more R rated than Saturday Night Fever) during Saturday Night Fever, it ran as a double feature with Grease, my job was to keep kids my age out and for that I would get in to the theater everyday for free . I would work during Saturday Night Fever and then they would let me off to watch Grease when it played. So probably the greatest moment in my life was meeeting the star of Grease, Olivia Newton John. Her tour came through McAllen, Texas in September of 2004, due to a huge "Grease" memorabillia collection I was asked to decorate her dressing room and if I could be her Assistant while she was in town. What an honor it was to steam a real "PINK LADY" Jacket. She heard my music and said "I had a" beautiful voice", she took my cd's with her as she gathered her things to leave. What an incredible day that was, I will consider that the Best day of my Life. Meeting her inspired me even more to do what I do today . I have since combined my love for "Grease" music, art and theater into our CENTER STAGE KARAOKE SHOW. My vocal stylings range from country to disco to pop to 80's to Tejano to mariachi to oldies.
Dj Jorge born in San Antonio, Texas has since moved to the Valley. He has been called "the Greatest Dj " by many. Mixing up the perfect Party Blend of "Music for every party. he truly is "The Groovemaster". He is a computer wiz which keeps our show state of the art.
We like to volunteer for different charities including, Recycled Rovers (Animal Rescue) We have rescued five of our own., American Cancer Society (Walk for Life Relays), American Diabetes Association, Senior Citizens, as well as school shows.
