Robin Lynn Winkelmann grew up in upstate New York. Inspired by the beauty of the mountains and the change of seasons, she began sketching and painting as a small child. Even then it was clear that she had incredible talent. Following her heart and passion for art, she drew constantly and painted, as well as created murals until after college winning several prizes along the way. Her interest in music was budding as well,and that became another of her passions. After touring and recording music for years with her band WEEP in NYC, she had to take time to heal from injuries to her hands, arms and neck. During this time of healing she used the vibrant colors of her art to paint her way back, little by little, to a full life of creativity.
The art of Robin Lynn Winkelmann is joy evoking expressions captured in the moment. The vibrant colors in her art will move you, inspire you and give you a sense of positive vibrations. From lizards to butterflies and cityscapes to trees each piece of art that graces the canvas, clothing, bags or anything else you find here, will be sure to capture anyone's eye.
Her art was exhibited in small galleries and coffee houses in upstate New York. Now living in central Florida, Robin continues to paint her colorful and inspirational paintings. Her art has been displayed in Cocoa Village, FL, in several shops as well as the Black Dog gallery & Art of Coffee in Cocoa Beach currently on display at The Joint in melbourne Fl, as well as hanging on walls of homes all over the World. Robin Lynn Winkelmann's art would make a wonderful additon to any of your favorite spaces. Robin believes strongly in the healing abilities of Yoga,which she practices daily...along with meditation and prayer.
