Makeshift Policy originated in a high school located in Ancaster, Ontario. From there, Makeshift Policy travelled across Canada in 2006 on their first tour hitting venues that Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver had to offer.
In 2007, Makeshift Policy opened the first annual Summer Dayze Rockfest event in Cayuga, Ontario for headliners: The Salads and Ill Scarlet.
After a tour, many shows and events , and breaking on to the radio waves at some college stations, Makeshift Policy started to record their first full length album in spring of 2007 and no release date has been set as of yet.
Makeshift Policy hopes to bring their new music to fans and new listeners soon. Until then, Makeshift Policy like to thank everyone who continues to support them and the local scene that they are a part of.
