I am here for Friends

About Me

Ametuer movie/music critic. Hit karaoke bars whenever I get an opportunity. Watch Chiefs games every Sunday, and jones every bye-week. Borderline psychotic when it comes to fantasy football. Drive a truck for a living and wishing I could be home more often. Wish my kids could stay at certain ages longer than science allows. Have hundreds of crazy ideas on how to be a millionaire but lack the follow-through to actually become one. "I thought about being a crack dealer... not one of those mean crack dealers, but a nice crack dealer, ya know?"

Juliette Lewis' band, The licks: "Hot Kiss."
It doesn't suck as bad as you would expect either!

You have to watch this one if you know who David Blaine is! This is hilarious!

Television:

Dirty Jobs is by far the best TV show ever. It is the only "Reality Show" that puts a man in the shoes of people who perform such disgusting jobs that most of us probably couldn't stomach.
I liked Arrested developement and curb your enthusiasm, but since my girlfriend and I apparently share a different taste in comedy I rarely got to watch them.

Books:

I used to love anything by Piers Anthony, he was a great fantasy author.
I've read a few John Grisham Novels and liked them until his storylines began ripping off all of his previous books.
Honestly, I havent read any books that I recall in the past 2-3 years, maybe I should do that?
I heard about a book called "Shroud of the Thwacker" by Chris Elliot, who is a comic genius and 3/4 insane, so that should be a good read.

Heroes:

My Lifestyles/foods/parenting teacher Mrs. Riley just for being a real person and a friend, not JUST a teacher.

My grandma Edna Clark who has survived 3 of her own children.

My Dad Steve Wilson who for the most part, raised me single handedly.

Also, my late pet dog Zola, whom after being shot by the neighbor's pellet gun, hit by several cars, caught in a coyote trap and kicked by a horse, has shown me that no matter what hardships we face, there is always the possibility of a better tomorrow.

adopt your own virtual pet!..
