DJ-FORTRESS

DJ-FORTRESS was born in Surinam (South America).At the age of 10 he moved to the Netherlands with his mother. One day he and a friend decided to buy a set of turntables. This friend who already had some experience as a dj taught him how to mix and thats how he rolled into the dj business. He first started in the urban scene but after a few years he switched over to the dance scene and started to play most of Club, Trance, 2 Step and Garage. But the music, The dj-work, The party's, The drinks, the women could not fill the empty space inside of Him. He started to search for the meaning of life and one day some one invited him to a Christian event and he decided to go and have a look. That day in church he was touched by the spoken word and he confessed to God that he was living an unholy life full of steeling,drinking and sexual sin. That day he confessed his sins and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. After a while he stopped playing music as a dj for a few years, until God started to speak to him, that he should prepare to make his comeback as a dj but, that he do it for Christ and Christ alone. In the mean while he was collecting Urban Music from differend artists who got their inspiration from God and his Word. He started to play Urban Gospel and God started to bless him with other talents as a songwriter, singer and rapper. With these God givin gifts he could now further the Gospel and reach more people for Christ. He found another Christian DJ named Kenneth that had the same vision and together they started UNDERLOC Entertainment which is a ministry that is now spreading the Gospel of Jesus by using Music and Entertainment. Together they run a party service for Christian all sorts of party's, also organizing and operating workshops, making music as well as organizing a Holy Ghost Party at least once in the two months which is called Urban Revolution. In the past few years DJ-Fortress has performed in different clubs, churches and other events in Holland and Belgium and The States. He was the resident of X-pect for 2 years and performed on other events like U-turn, Gospel Jammin, Kings Praise, Concert of Funky & Sammy,Concert of Canton Jones etc. etc.Now he and DJ-Seik-C or the resident dj's of Urban Revolution.
