Chris Crawford was born and raised in New York City in the north Bronx. Chris family is well known in the streets of NYC. Growing up Chris found himself spiraling out of control. Starting fights and creating hell for everyone by the age of 13. In 1995 he was arrested for a robbery and charged with a "B felony." Before the case was dismissed the judge stated, "If I see your face again I will automatically send you away." A statement that Chris never forgot and two years later found himself sentence to 18 months, upstate New York in a Division for Youth Facility (D.F.Y) While incarcerated Chris developed the nick name C.E.E an acronym for "Chris Eating Everything." After serving 14 months Chris was released and back on the streets of the north Bronx. Although he was in and out of trouble, rhyming was always something he did to past time. Trouble was one of the youngest in his neighborhood writing rhymes. As a teenager he earned his props battling local lyricist. He was immediately recognized by an older crowd and asked to feature on a compilation Album, "Kracks on wax." Shortly after, a good friend and a well-known Rapper Named AG, from the Infamous Rap group "Showbiz & AG / D.I.T.C" had a conversation with Chris and encouraged him to run with the name C.E.E.Chris uncle who was well known threw out New York City was fellow Friends with music Mogul (P. Diddy). Chris Uncle took him up to the Bad Boy Records office in 2001 and P.Diddy was feeling Chris Whole vide. But he wanted to hear Him over a track because Chris rhymed solo with no beat behind him. The following week Chris Recorded a Bronx Banger but was unable to give it to his uncle to bring it to P. Diddy because his uncle was indicted on conspiracy charges and was given a $100,000 Bond, “$$” for that reason Chris miss that opportunity BACK IN 2001.In 2002 Chris relocated to Atlanta on an invitation from his cousin Kham. on July 2, 2002 he arrived in Atlanta and began to pursue his Rap career on a full-time basis. It wasn't long before Trouble met Gotti, at the time a Cash Money Recording artist at a local mall in Atlanta. Gotti was impressed with Trouble's lyrics and swagger. Gotti invited Trouble to Patchwerk Studio, a well-known recording studio for big-name artists in ATL such as (Usher, JD, Jazza Pha, Tony Braxton, Yong Jeezy etc. Trouble went to the recording studio where he met with Baby a.k.a. Birdman, CEO of Cash Money Records. Although Baby did not have time to actually listen to Trouble flow the experience was definitely inspiring. "You can come to the studio whenever we’re in ATL," stated Baby which made Trouble feel like he was going to get signed at any moment. It was that experience that prompted Trouble to build and create his own team.By the end of 2002 Trouble and his cousin Kham created Trouble Records, LLC currently known as 2018 Ent. Before the summer of 2003 Trouble recruited Kawand Crawford, another family member, with business experience to the label.
