The Museum of Universal Self Expression, or MUSE Inc. is a not-for-profit community studio and gallery serving the psychiatric in Chicago, Illinois.MUSE Inc. aims to serve people in recovery from mental illness and/or substance abuse who exhibit interest and/or ability in fine arts.We provide studio space and gallery representation to help facilitate the artistic careers of this community.
Our goal is to provide a haven where art making is practiced in order to inspire personal growth and healing, to enhance interpersonal understanding, and to manifest social change by eliminating the stigma.
