MY BLESSING: Over the years I have often wondered why me. It seems like when I meet someone they have a problem, situation, or are in a bind. I have been like wow, I can't just meet anyone that is just having a normal life. Over the years I am starting to lose count of the people that, I've helped physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. I had been feeling exhausted as of late. I have helped shoulder a lot of burdens.But, this morning in prayer God answered me. He said my son. I blessed you with a wonderful family that showed you love and made sure that you knew me. I blessed you with intelligence so that you may know what is right and wrong, just and unjust and you may do the right thing. I blessed you with insight so that you may see the good in others and know to cast away those that are corrupt. And I filled you with my spirit, because I knew you were strong enough to let it shine, so that you may light the paths of others.----Whenever a friend has needed emotional help. I have been blessed with a sympathetic and open ear to listen intently. I have been blessed with an unselfish conviction to be able to advise, free of personal motives. When a friend has needed physical support I have been blessed with a strong back and a healthy body to be able to help even if I were the only one around. Whenever a friend has needed financial help, God has blessed me with abundance and allowed me to be the one there in the eleventh hour. I mean there are times when I have been broke the day before and God puts a blessing in my hand to spread immediately. Most importantly when a friend has needed help spiritually, God has put the words in my heart, and always led me to the place in The Bible to help them through. It may have been a verse I have never read before, but boom it's there!----In conclusion, I had been kind of down. I felt overburdened and under appreciated. I felt like I had been so much to so many and it was for nothing. This morning I realized that it was for something amazing. I have been chosen to be a tool of God's work, and an example of his presence. That is an amazing and wonderful thing to know. Now, I look back at my sacrifices I have made here on Earth and realize it is such a wonderful thing to have made them. Many people want to leave a legacy, but I will. If I go home today, people will remember me and say there was a truly good person, and an example of what a man should strive to be. I will be remembered for the good I did, and how much I helped, not for the evil I did or anyone I've hurt.-----Most importantly, I get to live eternal life, because God, my great God, allowed me to be a tool of his workings. How did I get to have this amazing priviledge!
