Love all, trust a few. Do wrong to none.

About Me

I have to do at least one nice thing for someone everyday. I love animals and will go to extremes to make sure they are happy, healthy and have a great home. Enjoy taking my dog to visit seniors in nursing homes and hearing their life stories. Love sunrises, sunsets, full moons rising in the fall, football, waterfalls, walking along the river and making someone smile. Friends are important and I believe they are angels sent down to help us prepare for eternal life.

My Interests

Love my pets! A golden retreiver (Bubbles), a rottweiler (Duke - named after the swaggering John Wayne)and a wonderful mix of all happy breeds - Cherry.

I'd like to meet:

Animal lovers and people who get that life is hard but still fun. People are interested in the fairy world around us. People who want to make a positive difference in others lifes. Spiritual people who accept all views of life. Other Native American Indians in search of our past.

Music:

Tastes are pretty wide and range with the mood. Love all variations of rock from southern to metal and folk. Love U2, Metallica, Enya, Toby Keith, Nickleback, The Rounders, Shinedown, Lucinda Williams, Bon Jovi, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Green Day and anything else that gets the heart going in a great way. Celtic Music which I think comes from my previous life. Rediscovering bluegrass thanks to my dear friend Little David. Just discovered Jen Chapin - you have to visit her page - she has a message for the world!

Movies:

The Outsiders, Message in a Bottle, Finding Nemo, Benny & Joon, Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves- the one with Kevin Costner, St. Elmos Fire, Closer, The Notebook, An American Tale (yes, I love animated movies), Wyatt Earp, The Perfect World, Casual Sex, The Mummy, Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, Dances with Wolves, Against all Odds, The Chronicles of Narina, The Lord of the Rings, any movies with Johnny Depp, Anthony Hopkins or Kevin Costner, The Mask of Zorro, Pirates of the Carribean, Eddie and the Cruisers, Sweet November, A Walk in the Clouds, Legends of the Fall, Fight Club, When Harry met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle. (I really am not as icky as this list sounds -or as a dear friend recently said: I must be a closet romantic with commitment issues.)

Television:

Anything on National Geographic, Falcons Football, College Football, Thank God You're Here (if you have not watched it - you have to just once!),House, Greys Anatomy, Men in Trees and yes, I admit it - American Idol. I mean, really, do think that the some of contestants not have any friends.

Books:

Sci-fiction - especially with themes involving wizards, dragons or fairies.

Heroes:

Mother Theresa, Mary Magdalene, Dolly Parton, Jimmy Carter, Bono, the person that smiles at you when you are having a bad day and says hi, how are you and then really listens! I try but it is sometimes hard to do it! The person that lets you out in traffic when you are late - I really love you! The friends that accept you for who you are and not what they want or need you to be.
