As a young boy I was walking downtown and out of the corner of my eye, I noticed an elderly gentleman crossing th street. Paying almost no attention to this seemingly mundane chore, I almost didn't notice the large truck barreling down on him. With no regard to my own safety and a seemingly non-existent sense of sel preservation, I leapt into action. Charging towards the man with a heretofore unrealised speed I was able to shove the man out of harm's way. As I was running the driver of the truck realizes what was underway and quickly turned left. Now this was where my life changed. This truck had been transporting biological waste and a particularly volatile radioactive isotope. As the truck careened out of control a barrel of this isotope came loose from its bindings. When the barrel hit the pavement and sent the strange liquid right into my face. I felt the waste burn my eyes and knew that I ws blind. Then everything went black. I awoke several days later to the same blackness but something was different. Over the next days I realized that my remaining senses had become superhumanly acute. I could smell a beautiful woman blocks away. Even though totally blind, I could read regular newspapers and books just by running my fingers over the page. But my hearing was the most fantastical change. I could hear everything. Everything. Also the acoustics of my particular surroundings could, for lack of a better term, bounce the sounds off objects to form three dimensional images. In effect, I could see. I honed my already prodigious fighting ability and used my new sense of balance and acute touch to become a world class acrobat.
