The current German Drum'n'Bass scene wouldn`t be the same without
Shoota being a part of it...
When Shoota first got in contact with breakbeats back
in 1993 he realized that this kind of music would heavily influence his life.
Not being able to afford DJ-equipment he started mcing in 1994.
Although he first did not take things too serious, Shoota soon shaped his consciousness into the direction of high developed cutting edge DnB and from there on unfolded his unique style.
To stand out from all the other MCs around him, he started to write German lyrics and therewith influenced the German scene as a pioneer.
In the meantime Shoota has played gigs all over Germany, Austria,
France, and Switzerland alongside international top artists such as his longtime friends Phace and Misanthrop - but also Concord Dawn, Optive, Raiden, Teebee, Break, Bailey, The Panacea and Pendulum - just to name a few.
Since 2001 Shoota has also been active as a producer for various styles of electronic music and debuted in 2006 on the Berlin based drum'n'bass lable '.shadybrain' with his remix of Nphect & Dizplay's 'Bot Funk'.
His first release should be the most successful tune ever released on .shadybrain until then.
In December 2007 he decided to explore new horizons and will soon be known as FELIX LUPUS.
