MARWIN SHAMMA (OFFICIAL)

Marwin Shamma has been playing since 2000. As a DJ, he has chance to introduce himself to public in - for lot of people legendary club - Mazany Kralicek (Thanks Lada), where he successfully represented his first residential night called "Marwin’s room". That time, we could find in his case styles on the boarder of French deep house and light tech house.
Later he became a resident in MIX Club, where he also had a lot of parties alongside another resident and one of the promoter of the club, Michal Dvorak aka DJ Majkl. Marwin has always represented there his slightly sharper sound, which varied from tribal house, tech-house and progressive. Breakbeat and electro house were also his favorite styles at that time.
After such as short time it can be said, that Marwin was able to push ahead his racy style. To confirm that, he has won Bassline Basic Cup in 2003, that was a competition that introduced new faces on Czech dance scene. In the same year he has played on his first big party, Open Air Field 2003.
After 2 years spent in MIX Club Marwin has terminated this cooperation a decided to have his own parties. Everything has started with parties in Bohemia Cafe, where he had regular various actions with the renewed Marwin’s room between most successful ones.
It did not take a long time till another Marwin’s resident night - Dance In The Sky. This party has been held in spaces of Sky Bar Cafe, on the 16th floor of Pilsen’s highest building, in cooperation with DJs Da Moon and Deen Ouvn.
In meantime, from study reasons, Marwin decided to leave for sunny Portugal, where, as he claims, a sort of break happened in his view of parties and dance music as a whole. During his 6 month stay he made playing in very interesting clubs in the capital, Lisbon, and also outside it.
Since September 2006 you can look forward for Marwin and his another residential party - also in Sky Bar Cafe - this time called SOUND HEAVEN. This night should introduce most actual things from European or world dance scene to Pilsen public. It should be an inspiration for all those, who are still looking for a new sound...
This is not the end of Marwin’s tendency for activation of West Bohemian scene. Since October 2006 he is preparing a new party in cooperation with Prague ROXY Booking. Every month you can look forward to hear high quality DJ from series of this prestige booking. His last demo was pronounced as the demo of the month (February) in music magazine XMAG :-)
