EGON is Louis Favre's project.
Four years ago, this french drummer came from Perpignan to study music with Dré Pallemaerts and Pierre Van Dormael at the Lemmens Institute, Leuven.
He started EGON with 4 great musicians/friends from the flemish jazz scene to play his music.
Each concert is different but always with some precious ingredients : big human groove, swing swing swing, nice or mysterious melodies, strange spacy vibes, beautiful harmony, rock riff, blues, jungle rythms...
Imagine a volcano with feelings : powerful, boiling from inside.
Sometimes quiet, sometimes madly excentric, but always THERE... that's the intention.
You may have seen EGON playing at festivals like Brussels Jazz Marathon, Jazzbreak, Schapenrock, Festimages or in clubs in Brussels, Leuven, Antwerpen, Ghent, Perpignan (France).
