Band Members: 1g0g alias Igor Solnzev the composer of electronic music with 10 years experience. His compositions often created from stylistically disparate musical elements are defined by specific composition of music space and by density of sound stream. The voices of turning machines, church singing or piping, drops of rain knocking against the metal roof, dog's barking, tree's whisper, howl of the wind, organ accords and any other sounds are changing in his hands enormously and serve as real-time source material for creating of giant acoustical constructions of very fanciful forms. Be aware that 1g0g always uses to the maximum all facilities and power of concert devices.MC Prorok alias D.rylov the author of conceptual component of the project. He is professional philologist. He makes with texts the same things that 1g0g does with sounds, that is modifying and mixing them. His manner of recitation is far from simple declamation: rhythmed priestlike voice is transforming into ethereal whisper and is changing with frenetic scream, the verbal images are throbbing and then fall into pieces. Attentive listener can find in these texts fragments from ancient holy books such as Sumerian mythology or Upanisbads, lyrics of Russian poets (B. Poplavsky, V. Buritch), translations from foreign modern authors (Edward Ka-Spell, David Tibet) and even safety instructions which are dissolved for primary substances and interlaced in complicate musical structure.Anna Zhurko. Dramatic plastic art (the avantgardist Japanese dance Butoh) combining with vocal exercises at the limit of human voice possibilities create fantastic grotesque images that need complicate interpretation. All simple verbal interpretations are false. Sweet cradlesong and Catholic requiem mass performed by Tatiana give to NOISES OF RUSSIA music a flavour of mediaeval mysticism. She is the only one fully legitimate representative of tonal music in the project, emphasizing with her singing noise and voice experiments.
