Hello, I am Mike if you didn't know already. I am 18 years old and a senior in high school living in St. Louis. I love building anything with wood, especially guitars and basses. I have been playing bass for about 5 years as of now with nothing much to show for it but I enjoy it which in my mind is the most important part of playing music. I have been building strictly guitars (and little things) for about 3 years.
I just finished a custom 10 string bass for a friend of mine that I have been discussing with him for over a year. It has a flamed maple top, maple/walnut neck, ziricote fingerboard, and a custom Nordstrand humbucker which is covered in a custom pickup cover I made with the poles exposed (very hard to do).
I made a custom neck for a Jackson V for a friend of mine that is a metal head so it pretty much says it by the look of it. Yelloheart headstock, wenge neck back, Madagascar ebony fingerboard, custom "DC" inlay on the 12th fret.
