...Wait. Me? Or- Or you? How could I tell you about you? I don't even know you. So it wouldn't be a very accurate description, now would it? What do you want me to do, make some shit up?... Unless I do know you, in which case I apologize for swearing at you, and would only ask that in the future you let me know you're you well in advance. Preferably a week or so... Just so there's no confusion and I can properly prepare a statement in... advance.

My Interests

Off-roading. Sailing. Anything adventurous, mostly.

Failing that, cooking, videogames, writing, reading, messing with my guitar, philosophising (Is that a word?), radio controlled... Anything, really. Mechanical stuff, carpentry- to include furniture building, making websites, wasting time on MySpace (just so you, whoever you are, could find me if you so chose), when I have a perfectly good (but now almost totally defunct) website.

Note: This profile is [indefinitely] under construction. The project has been postponed (to date) due to warm weather, cold weather, lack of interest, dial-up internet, work, video games, general lack of know-how, my way cooler than MySpace girlfriend, and doctors appointments.

Music:

I like almost anything. As long as it's good. I used to (and still do) like hard rock, classic rock, arena rock, metal, classical. With college came (along with moderate experimentation with controlled substances) techno, trance, house, blues, and jazz. Then in the cultural melting pot of the Army I eventually aquired a taste for rap, hip-hop, and r&b. Since I've been in Texas, I'm really trying to like country, but so far I've only had moderate success. Classic country is okay... Is Johnny Cash country? I like Johnny Cash.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Clutch. Their lyrics don't make any sense. I find that refreshing. Most recently Dropkick Murphys. Hil-friggin-arious lyrics. And Bagpipes. Whoohoo!

Movies:

Fear & Loathing. Office Space. Pirates of the Caribbean (Both). Falling Down. Saw. Crank. Snatch. 300. Sin City. Blackhawk Down.

I just saw The Kingdom. It was good, one of those "Oh SHIT!" movies, but be warned all ye vets, there's a political message at the end that may piss you off.

Television:

Family Guy. Mythbusters. Survivorman (But not Man vs. Wild- That dude's an idiot). TiVo + anything on the science channel. I really don't watch all that much TV.

Books:

The Zombie Survival Guide.
Whatever happens to be on hand when I get bored and it's too nasty to go outside and play.

Heroes:

Footlong parmesian, swiss cheese, turkey double-meat, extra bacon, lettuce, tomato, and light onions, heavy mayo, salt and pepper. Just the sandwich, not the meal, but with a large soft-drink. Thanks.
