About Me

Feb 9 delivers a brand of music that he quotes will “withstand the test of time sonically, musically and ultimately, stand out among the clones.” Networking in Miami, Florida, Feb9, (at the time part of the production duo the Trackburnerz) released a few tracks to President and CEO, James Jackson, which opportunely landed them the position as producers for emanating label Slick Salt Entertainment. Contrary to the producer's present lifestyle in sunny South Florida, Feb9 was born at the top of the map in New York, but raised at the bottom here in Florida. Brought into the world as Brandon Presley, Feb9 is a Brooklyn, NY native that now resides in Tampa, FL. After high school, he intended to pursue a degree at to Florida A&M University, but made an ambitious decision to pursue his dream of music after three years as an undergraduate student. Studying math and science wasn't where his heart was; however, studying music vigorously and teaching himself to play the piano and drums along infused a newfound inspiration and passion in him . He started off in the club scene as an MC, but as time progressed so did his passion for instruments. Unsatisfied with the beats he was being given to write to, he became frustrated and gave up rapping on other people's beats and began making his own. Thus, a fledgling producer was born.Music production held an attainment of success for Feb9. Soon after making the switch to beatmaker, Feb9 teamed up with LA the Craftzman and created the company Tracks Media LLC. The two called themselves the Trackburnerz. While still part of the Trackburnerz, Feb9 collaborated on various projects and though these projects, Feb9 the gained knowledge and experience needed for the next levels that lie ahead. With complete creative control, the pair created a project with the once flourishing label based out of New York, the infamous Rawkus Records, called “S.T.K.R.!” (Which is short for Super Thug Killer Rap Exclamation) that was released digitally. Feb9 and his production partner have worked with “Laws,” Jamie Drastik from Making the Band, Rook a producer from the Grammy Award winning J.U.S.T.I.C.E League production team, and Sien, an artist signed to Fat Joe’s Terror Squad label. His most recent endeavor included co-producing a “Laws” mixtape that is in conformity with Grammy Award winning producers, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and DJ Smallz. Time is of the essence and while advancing in exertion Feb9 continues to produce for local artists in Tampa Bay; one track featuring Royce the 5’9 on the beat. Feb9's credentials may not exceed those of national moguls but they will continue to enjoy their beginnings, for one day looking back a realization will occur, showing those were actually the big things. Every project is a new musical journey for Feb9 and nothing is taken lightly when it comes to putting his name on an artistic piece of work.Having amicably parted ways with LA the Craftzman as production partners, Feb 9 now flies solo along with the support of his management team. Feb9 continues on to explore a deeper identity so that his musical fingerprint will be one that lasts the test of time and engrains itself permanently in today's music as well as the music for generations to come...
