International DJ, innovative producer, founder and front man of one of the world's most legendary party organizations: FunkyTekno Tribe (FTT) and Organic.-DJ Hector Cardenas has emerged as a pioneering force in the house music scene and has continued to be instrumental in the proliferation of dance music on a global scale. Hector Cardenas' versitility as a DJ is second to none, applying his own unique and highly sophisticated stlye to all aspects of dance, ranging from future house and funky tekno to hip-house mash-ups and jazzy grooves.Starting out as a club DJ in 1989, Hector eventually joined forces with founding co-partners Kevon Banks and Jerry Sladewski in 1992 to form FTT just as the burgeoning underground rave scene was exploding along California's sunny shores. Firmly establishing himself as an FTT resident DJ, Hector has played at some of the worlds hottest clubs and has shared the stage with many of the world's premier electronic music artists such as DJ Sneak, Junior Sanchez, Mark Farina, DJ Dan, Daft Punk and The Basement Jaxx to name a few.After years of great success touring and producing parties with the FTT crew, Hector now spends a lot of his time traveling and playing the international club circuit as well as playing residency at clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
