mockeries†How many of yall remember those lyrics? Every time I hear them my skin tingles, because back in 99’ they inspired me to start writing my own rhymes.
Being raised in a Caribbean island that has no history of it's own Hip-Hop music but is so strongly influenced by American Hip-Hop culture, the lure of creating my own music was too much to resist. Although at the time soca & dancehall dominated Grenadian airwaves, my former group "The FutureStyles Crew" enjoyed nation wide success with our brand of Hip-Hop fused dancehall records.
Relocating to the UK few years ago brings you up to date with this chapter in my musical voyage. TBC
