I'm famous for saying, "it's either in my trunk or my storage unit." I survived one contract with Holland America Line (ms Statendam) sailing Alaska, the South Pacific, Australia, and New Zealand. I just finished with my second contract on the Maasdam sailing the Caribbean, the New England and eastern Canadian coast, and eventually northern Europe. I got to perform, travel, and get paid to do it. Plus, I got to meet and work with people from all over the world! The more of the world I visit, the more I want to see. I would love to go to Japan more than anything! If you know of any performing jobs there, let me know. I think I'm staying on land for awhile. and no, chip or ray are not my boyfriends.
I love Jesus (the word 'Christian' gets abused way too much). It's not easy, and I fail a lot, but I look forward to the day when I can see the Lord face to face and hear "well done, my good and faithful servant." God's love captured my heart when I least expected it, and when I deserved it the least. If you want to hear the story, just ask. He continues to pursue me with His patient, loving heart even though I don't feel deserving at times. I want to be and do a lot of things. I want to be above reproach. I want to be more patient. I want to love others like God loves me. I want to forgive faster. I want people to see Christ's love through my words and actions. I want to look at people with a purity of heart and not have pre-conceived notions of who they are. Humility is something I'm working on. I want to be more of a servant. I want to do what I love and get paid for it. I never want to feel like I *have* to go to work. I want to *get* to go to work. I want to glorify the Lord with dance. I've gone through a major life change in the past 8 months, so I'm trying to adjust accordingly.
