About Me

..1998 see the emergence of Moos, with his first single, “Qui me donnera des ailes”. The world then discover a unique talent and personality . After a second single, “ Au nom de la Rose”, Moos’ first album “Le Crabe est erotique” is released. Number one in radio and TV broadcasting, sales and online downloading for several months, his album is a huge success sold in millions all over the world.Dreams and rebellion in abundance in the flow of his inspiration. A voice with something at the same time immaterial and sensual. A feather of surprising maturity, combining passion and bitter-sweet spleen. From his tender years, he nourishes himself from the luxuriant heritage of Black Music, passing by the rap to the New-Jack tendency old school soul. Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway,Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Sly Stone,The Rolling Stones and Barry White all contributed to develop his musical ear and his sensibility.Moos early turns his attention towards the most contrasted musical horizons. Born in Toulouse from Moroccan parents, he grew up as a part of the large mosaic of communities that turns the district of Mirail into a kind of world sound system, where African rhythms cohabit with raï, funk, R’n’B, French song and the legendary voices of Oum Khalsoum and Farid El Atrache..Above all, Moos is in love with love. His feather is inspired by sources such as Baudelaire, the “marquis de Sade”, Mallarmé, Gainsbourg, Brassens, Nougaro…”It was from the moment I listened to George Brassens that I dared to write certain things, explains Moos. This Mister with the quiet air allowed crowned verbal audacities. As for Claude Nougaro, his anthem “La ville rose” belongs to the childhood of every Toulousain inhabitant. His verbal art belongs to the vast inheritance of poetry and refreshed many among us.”Recording with well known producers both in Europe and The United States his talent is widely appreciated. With an unique capacity of juggling with words, allusions and desires, Moos is of a natural sensuality, without hypocrisy and vulgarity. And, in the velvet of his voice, pleasure preserves a mystery… QUI ME DONNERA DES AILES AU NOM DE LA ROSE DELICATE CHATTE TANGO GIGOLO a
