Band Members: I constitute 1/2 of the super innovative duo: Spacebunny Jefferson - which consists of me (the poet, aspiring emcee & songbird) and trippy producer-rapper K.Z.Presently, we're in the lab non-stop, concocting some goodies that are sure to leave you wondering what kind of fraggle rock we were on, despite the fact that we're both drug-free. We survive off of granola bars and tequila for nourishment.
Influences: Radiohead, Bjork, Def Tones, Hendrix, Andre 3000, MF Doom, Gorillaz, Ella Fitzgerald, Cab Calloway & Billie Holiday.Allow me to paint a vivid picture for you. If rock, jazz & hip-hop had a slap happy nasty monkey sex fest threesome where they were all open to experimentation and then they plotted world domination instead of smoking cigarrettes afterwards, this would be their soundtrack.We just meshed all'a dem shits together like we were making gumbo.
Sounds Like: The juke joint & cotton club singers of old (before & after the heroin), cosmic rabbits on acid, a collage of several musical genres and styles super-glued together, God freestylin' at a house party in heaven while Moses spins on the 1's and 2's, angels serenading mortals, and more importantly...it sounds like "creative freedom".
