The City Nights

The City Nights are an acoustic indie folk/rock setup from the Grimsby & Cleethorpes area of England.
In late 2006 a full, electric 5-piece version of the band was formed but despite the initial promise in rehearsals, an agreement unfortunately couldn't be reached on the 'sound' the band was to have. The 2 songs currently on the bands page here are 2 rough demos they produced after only a handful of practices together. The band split and went their separate ways...
It seems now though that TCN may be set to re-emerge as an acoustic 3 piece of James Clarke, Nick Millward and Dave Wilmer with the possible addition of bass guitar and keys.
Keep an eye on The City Nights myspace page to see how things pan out. Hopefully there will be some new re-vamped recordings up on here to give you a taste of what might be to come...
