Project Adorno

Up-beat, Up-tempo performance poetry to a disco beat. Project Adorno are a double act featuring Praveen & Russell who have been writing and performing on the cabaret and poetry scene in London and elsewhere for the past 8 years. They first teamed up for a one-off performance at a local community arts festival in Merton in 1998 and enjoyed it so much that they decided to continue working together. Project Adorno fuses the pair's love of early eighties music and chanson-style storytelling with intricate wordplay. They have somewhat quirky and surreal themes including a love song dedicated to Davros (leader of the Daleks), poems about libraries and most recently have added to their repertoire a suite of songs covering an A-Z of the London Underground. Project Adorno have found themsleves performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Cheltenham Literature Festival and Hertford Music Festival among others over the last few years.
