I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

This is the myspace of a mature female (Okay the 37 is wishful thinking, I admit it), living back in Melbourne after a year in Nottingham. I've been single for 9 years and enjoying my life to the full. I am working at Monash, but job hunting. My spare time is taken up with (currently - but this changes depending on the time of year) work, shopping, Penant lawn bowls, dinner with friends, live bands at pubs and a good latte whenever. I love getting out in the sun or walking around the Ring Road at work. Travel is one of my passions and I am looking forward to Kerala in SW India next February.

I made my myspace layout using Pimp-My-Profile.com

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Someone to go the the Corner or the Prince or the Forum with to see bands - I particularly like ska, reggae, african, any other type of world music, bands like cat empire, female artists and anyone else who isn't too heavy metal or TOO loud. I also like meeting people for coffee or a movie or a meal in a nice restaurant or cafe. I just like to soak up the atmosphere of a big city and check out the little bars and enjoy drinking different types of beer and wine. I especially love ales. I would like to get out a bit on the weekend to markets or the country, especially the beach in any weather.

My Blog

Leaving home

I have resigned my job and found my replacement, Glynis, a girl who worked here earlier this year and loved the place. I am sure she and Russ will get on well - both have a dry/warped sense of humour ...
