BUCKCHERRY - How it all started for me:
Sometime in 1999 - 94.1 WHJY was playing Lit Up and I asked my buddy Mike "are they saying what I think they're saying?" He bought the cd a few days later, let me borrow it and the rest was history. I was hooked! After seeing them live for that first tour BC were cemented as my favorite band of all time knocking off GNR and Zeppelin.
TIMEBOMB - released in 2001 is the ultimate cd. Helpless(Segue) is the most powerful song I have ever heard. Saw BC twice on the Timebomb tour.
The Breakup - 2002 was downright depressing when BC broke up. Michelle posted the news from BC's Manager on Buckcherry.net that it was official. Josh and Keith were the only ones left and decided to call it quits. I always held out hope that they would get back together.
Josh Todd Band - in 2004 "You Made Me" was released. A very good record that was meant to be a different sound than Buckcherry and it was. Not only did I get to see the band live I got to meet them as well. Josh performed like he was fronting BC in front of 50,000 fans. It was great, they even did a version of Lit Up BUT it wasn't BUCKCHERRY. When asking if they had any BC shirts at the merchandise stand the guy told me "no way man Buckcherry is 2 years over." My hope for a comeback was fading.
No JT Band at LocoBazooka - In September of 2004 my buddy Mike and myself went there just to see the Josh Todd Band, they were a no show. I was pretty upset at the time. Little did I know the BC comeback was about to start rolling....
BUCKCHERRY to REUNITE - rumors were swirling around the internet and some JT message boards that BC was getting back together. I was beyond excited but wondered if true were the old members coming back or were there new members. Then came the official word from Keith that BC was back and working on a new cd. The 3 new members: Stevie D, Xavier, and Jimmy are incredible additions to the band. Michelle put litupagain.com up since JB still had bc.net and the BC train was off and running again.
Crazy Bitch on Myspace - I was about the 14th person to hear it as I would check the new BC myspace often to see if anything new was going on. Needless to say I almost fell off my chair because it was actual proof that they were back together and sounding as if they never missed a beat.
"15" Released - Imported the new cd "15" from Amazon in September(2005) and FINALLY got it in November(2005). Everything I could of hoped for and more. Saw BC 3 times in 2006. The shows were INCREDIBLE! This time BUCKCHERRY is bigger and better than ever!
