About Me

3-16-2001:
Brandon Kaut buys his first guitar and amp at a pawn shop with $170 in his pocket. The total of his purchase was $169.91. He goes home and teaches himself how to play in the following months learning every Nirvana song thanks to his friend Danny Culver giving him an entire book of tabs on Nirvana. He also starts to write his own songs, the first ones being "Little Whore of a Girl", "Cinnamon", "Canary", "Carsick", and "Your Girlfriend Killed The Voices In My Head."
People come over everyonce in awhile and he will play them bad interpretations of the songs he knows with a neutered Billy Corgan voice.
5-7-02:
Brandon moves to Appleton City after having problems at home. He lives with his art teacher and writes the song "Triston's Song" the first night. During his stay here he will also write "Ice Tea", "Stain Your Wings", "The Attention Song", and "Sacrificing Happiness For Art That Doesn't Sell".
6-13-02:

11-5-02:

Over time they get together and play along with Tyler Snyder. They record home demos on a tape cassette which includes covers of Hendrix's "Purple Haze", Nirvana's "Polly" and "Anuerysm", The Violent Femme's "Blister In The Sun" among other songs including Brandon's "The Attention Song". Brandon called the band "Grandma's Morphine Teddy Bear".
