I'm content with who I have...
"We often feel sad in the presence of music without words; and often more than that in the presence of music without music."
I've definitely gone through stages. As a highschooler I loved Relient K, the OC Supertones, the W's, Bleach, Sanctus Real, All-Together Separate, The Swift, All-Star United, Toby mac, The Juliana Theory and FM Static.
I've been completely entralled with Jack Johnson for a little over a year now
My true love, however, is big band and jazz. Frank Sinatra (ah, the Rat Pack...brilliant, really), Vic Damone, Nat King Cole (how could I forget the unforgettable?), Connie Francis, Debbie Reynolds, Harry Connick Jr., John Stevens, The Shirelles all come highly ranked as far as artists go...
Oh, I mustn't forget musical soundtracks...who doesn't love Westside Story, Oliver, and...ahem...Aladdin...Beauty and The Beast...
All Disney movies (except the sequels which are always lame, I take that back...Toy Story 2 was pretty funny), and That Thing You Do.
Oh, I couldn't possibly forget Lady in the Water, The Count of Monte Cristo *sigh*, Gladiator, Mystery Men, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, and all the Ernest movies (Ernest Goes to Jail is the best movie ever).
Then there's the usual classical movies: Westside Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Hit the Deck, On the Town, Singing in the Rain, and the Tender Trap. Yeah, I'm sort of a nerd...but nerds are people too.
I have a deep love for The Adventures of Pete and Pete, which sadly airs no more, and a sick infatuation for Lost...yes, I know, I know...but I'm prepared to face the consequences of my demented decisions.
