I like songs, and know I'm way too capricious to tell you I like a specific genre. A lot of the times I like the songs because of the hook, bass, or the beat. Sometimes, however, the lyrics grab me because they seem to be made for me. I can more than relate to what they say. In those instances I'm instantly in love. However, the ones with my everlasting devotion are the ones that take me back to: a who, a when and a where that I can taste the margarita, smell the perfume and feel the wisps of hair upon my cheek.
Some of the genres on favorite foods list are: Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Alternative, Rock, Oldies and Classical, Salsa, Merengue, Alternative,ChaCha, Country, Classical...Some artist I like on principle like Bob Marley, Garth Brooks, Enya, Tu Pac, Eek-A-Mouse, Santana, Vicente Fernandez, the Beatles and Beetoven.
My taste in movies parallels my taste in music. Different flavor for a different occasion and all that. Don't really have time for television. If I do watch it I watch movies with my niece and nephew (sometimes without them), like: Harry Potter and Pirate's of the Caribbean. I will let myself watch the occasional Futurama and Family Guy.
Books are as varied as all my other taste. I place significant value on these because they were my companions when I was doing time behind those mason walls and iron gates. Here are some of the one's I've read. Victor Hugo's: Les Miserables and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Charles Dicken's: Oliver Twist, Herman Melville's: Moby Dick, Homer's: Iliad, Dante's: Inferno, Niccolo Machiavelli's: The Prince, Jane Austin's: Pride and Prejudice, Ayn Rand: Atlas Shrugged, J.K.
