Main Street Blues are an exciting Blues band from Edinburgh, headed up with Derek Smith on lead vocals and guitar, Angus Rose on keyboards/ guitar and backing vocals, Rod Kennard on Bass and backing vocals and our new band member, Glen Robertson on Drums.
Main Street Blues bring together a powerful mix of up tempo Blues with R&B, Funk and Jazz influences, performing wide range of electric and acoustic blues material.
Main Street Blues play many of the music venues in and around Scotland and have been steadily gaining a reputation as a quality band on the Blues circuit with notable repeat concerts at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Darval and the Edinburgh Brunton Theatre.
Main Street Blues have supported a number of notable artists, including the great Blues man "Tam White" and the great Scottish blues band from Fife, "Lights out by Nine".
