Sarah Dupuy

Sarah Dupuy worn born in upstate New York, but grew up in Maryland and New York. Her roots are Haitian and her culturual influences are Haitian, African and American. She taught herself acoustic guitar at age twelve, listening to Bob Dylan, Santana, Chaka Khan and the like, these were a few of her first musical influences.Growing up with soul, folk and rock music abounding, she later joined a Haitian world beat band as a background vocalist. Wanting to do more expressing her eclectic musical taste and influences, Sarah has embarked on her own musical project DUPUYLOVE which promises to reflect the journey.
