Myspace Layouts, Contact Tables & More! Hello, I'm Saffron Monsoon and I'm a student, a writer, a Mother, a lover and an abused child. Well - let's just say I've had a tumultuous childhood with an unfit, drug and alcohol addled Mother, Edina, and a plank of wood, Patsy, Mum's best friend and worst influence. To rebel against my wild Mother and her reckless world I was shoved into, I became a serious and brilliant student, a conservative dresser and a crusader for humanity. I've always been fascinated by science, and considered a career as a biologist until I found my real calling as a playwright. I recently wrote and mounted a production based on my life story called, "Self Raising Flower". It was supposed to serve as my cleanser of emotional baggage, instead, my Mother crowd surfed her way onto stage to take a bow with the actress playing her. I was so embarrassed! Come to think of it, I usually feel that way when Mum's involved with anything I do. Mum and I have had our ups and downs, for one - she set my best friend Sarah's pigtails on fire! But, without me, there would be no one there to clean up the sick and pump Mum's stomach. It's not all bad though, I've got my health, my Gran, My Dad, Justin, my significant other John, who is a mature student I met in Africa, and our wonderful daughter Jane - who Mum calls, "Lola". Things are still changing as John and I adjust to our role as parents, and Mum finally accepting her role as grandmother to a "mixed race baby", which she calls the "Gucci of Babies".
