SHEER DULLED AND THE PECULIAR BRAINS were born in the summer of 2002 thanks to two guys meeting: CAS (singer)
and Mr. PECULIAR (guitar). It has been years since they have started playing and composed music in different kinds of bands,
and mixing this different experiences came to light a graceful consonance, I mean peculiar...
After one year spent writing and creating ideas, they started the hard search of other elements in order to complete
the band and give heart and soul to those songs; TANINO joins the band as the drummer, and with CAS on as bass guitar,
the band took shape with the name of ALGEBRA DI LIE. But the project ended soon: after less than one year, in fact, TANINO
was sobstitued by CARLAINZ, a versatile and charismatic drummer, and the band changed name into SHEER DULLED AND THE PECULIAR BRAINS.
Anyway, the three guys figured out that conveying this music concept in three it's not possible, so CAS started
playing the piano and the band stopped his activity to search a skilled and flighty bass player. After several months,
during which many musicians have been tried, the band found out STEVE, a guy who belongs to SDPB in the first
period, but soon CARLAINZ left the band, wich is still without drummer...
Now, SHEER DULLED AND THE PECULIAR BRAINS' music starts to reach the essence involved since the beginning, but it will be a
path of steady evolution...
SDPB take inspiration from bands such as PINK FLOYD, BEATLES and QUEEN; they have a passion for
composition, so they use music as an instrument to picture audio-images that mould themselves into the listener mind, end-user of
a product that has lacked new shades since too much time, trying to lead him into spaces different from those that have been unduly
visited..
Currently they have a self-produced demo.
