Hailing from Da Dirty South, Drew Nichz is a prolific rap artist with a unique southern swag. Born in the late 80´s, Drew Nichz was brought up in a 2 parent home but out side of the walls he called home was the lust of the streets where dope dealers and cap pealers were found on every block hustling. But the lust of the fast money was not enuff to temp Drew Nichz to crossover to the fast life. He began a hustle of his own. Selling CD´s. His own CD´s. Drew found his calling to rap at the young and tender age of 9 years old, but never took it seriously until 4 years later when he began to record his first 5 track mixtape "Da Introduction." After reocording the mixtape, Drew began to get a slight buzz in the streets of Port Gibson, MS but he did no take it serious and pay it no mind. Taking another 4 years out to be more focused on his school work, Drew Nichz dropped another mixtape, "Doing It My Way." "Doing It My Way" did the exact same as the previous mixtape and gained a buzz in the streets, but just as before Drew paid it no mind. When asked why he never took it seriously, he replied "I only do this for fun. I´m not looking to get famous or nothing, I´d just rather do this music shit for fun." But in the fall of 2007, his sophomore year at Alcorn State University, Drew Nichz dropped yet another mixtape "Da Comeback." With a new attitude towards the rap game, Drew Nichz finally took the buzz serious and has gained state wide recognition for his talent in the rap game. When asked about how he feels about the "Da Comeback Mixtape," he replied "What about it? I mean some people might think dat was the best mixtape I´ve dropped since I came out, but wait until you hear what I´m cookin up now. Welcome Da Slaughtah House comin soon. U be da judge about the best yet."
