Influences: Where should we start? Influences is a somewhat broad stroke to paint true inspiration with but... We could always name a few. First and foremost Wu Tang Clan without a doubt has inspired Ill nation more than anyone else. But it runs so much deeper than that. Since we are located in Louisville Ky we are in the middle of the 2 major coasts for hip hop these days, the East and the South, and our influences show this. We may make a track with a Ludacris type of feel to it but spit straight Ny type of flow over top of it. The point is WE DO WHAT WE FEEL. And that is what makes us Ill Nation. We would tell you that we sound like Lil John, Peety Pablo, Nas, Luda, Method Man, Ghostface, or even Jurrasic 5 but that would be a lie... WE SOUND LIKE Ill Nation. You know they say that every good idea has already been done and only improvements can be made... We say "F" that. Ill Nation is and always will be our own entity.
