THE NEW SOUND OF THE SOUTH...JOIN THE REVOLUTION

About Me

It all started when I wuz 5 years old, and my grandma started given me piano lessons. By 7, I wuz da man wit dem keys (and I still am know for you niggas that know wuz up) As I grew I was interested in other instruments like percussion, guitars, etc. I come from a family of musicians so the shit is in my blood...When I wuz in elementary school I use to write poetry, and in fifth grade we had to get in groups and make our own song about our history/past. i had a hard time at first but I just pretended it was poetry with a beat to it. Thats when I started writting music!!!Me and my dawg Justin and my nigga William had a group called Mercenaries. We were twelve talkin about shit he had no idea about. I heard my older cousins and uncles talkin about guns, drugs, and sex...and applied all that shit in our songs. Me and william use to write the lyrics and made the beats. My keyboard didnt have no drums or nuthin so I did the melody first, then did the percussion on a drum pad, recorded it all together on a tape! Since we dint know nuthin about no studio, we used a tape recorder and played the beat tape in the background! No body couldn't tell us shit...When i got to high school it seemed like everybody wanted to rap. being in the south and listening to No Limit, Cash Money, Three 6 Mafia, UGK, and others; everybody wanted to be a rap star. I remember havin freestyle battles at lunch and in class, you win some and you lose sum, at least until 11th grade! By then I had perfected my style and I felt like nobody could fuck wit me! I could spit fluently like I wuz writtin da shit. At my high school it wuz a couple niggas makin noise but most of'em wuz not! My niggas J. Gotti, Bolo, Roadie G, Ferly Ferl, Drain, Lil DJ, Breeze, Envy, and Venable (bka Venni Mussiani) had a group called D.U.B. (Dem Untouchable Boys) They dropped a cd and had a hit song on the radio, and had West Ashley on da map! They went they separate ways and doin they own thing now. I still fucks wit my niggas though. My niggas from Killa Squad (Lil Act, Slick, Flaya aka Baby Breeze) Wuz fuckin da game up too! I wuz slangin beats to anyone who wanted the fire shit! I always started a project but never finished it becuz I nigga wuz gettin caught up into much shit in dese streets.Niggas think they know my story but they dont realize they on the outside lookin in. You cant see everythin on the inside so they by what they can see! Times wuz hard and a nigga had to turn to da streets to keep me on my feet! it wuz a time when it wuz just me and my lil bubba wit sum family that we barely used to be around. So I hit da grind to get our needs and wants. I'm always in and out of da game. Me and my cousin and uncles stay takin penatentury chances. And even though a nigga never served time, I've had plenty run ins wit da police!I kept tellin my self "Fuck dem dick suckin crackers" and "fuck these hater"...I'ma shine regardless! Its took me some serious soul searchin and get my mind right to focus on this music. I done lost some niggas to the game and I aint tryna be next.So here I am. Dough Boy; named by the streets cuz I always been about my bread. If it aint about dollars then it dont make sence! I'm the "In-House Producer" and a "Recording Artist" for A$C Records.
