Sounds Like: I like my music to sound like different things at different times. When I'm in certain moods I write songs to accompany them. Being a songwriter is kind of like keeping a journal. If you know when the songs were written, you can look back and see where your life was at that point. I suppose the same is true for people that associate specific songs or artists with particular periods in their life.
