Greetings, I'm Paul Newberg. I'm a proud parent to my daughter Charlye who turned 2 years old on 3-26-09. She is my everything and I love her more than I ever thought I could love. I share her with her mother in Wyoming and fought to try and keep her here with her blood families. I will continue to give Charlye my all and will NEVER give up on making sure she get's the best life imaginable. Someday I may try to fight the system again and make it fair for damn good fathers like myself to get a fair chance at being that father because right now in the state of Minnesota they assume all mothers are perfect and all dads are deadbeat assholes. Well guess what? This dad is doing a fantastic job...
I'm also a singer/songwriter out of Duluth Minnesota and grew up in South Minneapolis. I came to Duluth to attend college at UMD and began playing shows my senior year in college. My solo shows are best described simply as acoustic rock. I currently play at Aces on 1st every Wednesday night from 9:30pm to 1:00am. I play other shows all over Minnesota and Wisconsin so check my schedule for shows. I am interested in playing shows all over the country but am still trying to figure out how to do that. I have several songs about love and heartbreak but now am focusing on anger, forgiveness and songs of happiness and the simple life. My first CD titled "Lifted Weight" is available at any show that I play for $10, or my house for $6.09.
I currently front two local bands out of Duluth; "Onehitter" and "The What Four." They are both awesome bands and we're looking to take on the world at any second. Onehitter is a power trio that has a southern rock sound that gets everyone up out of their seats and shakin it. The What Four is a mix of rock, R & B, pop, and originals; never a dull moment...
I've stumbled upon a woman in my life that "dare I say" could be the one. She's an amazing person in every way that I love and am looking forward to spending my life with her, traveling the world, sampling drinks, and attempting as many naked adventures as possible. The world is a crazy place!
I am a home owner in Duluth and am looking to purchase another somewhere in this country to call my own, raise a family, and watch my daughter grow. I enjoy the area but I feel I need to spread my wings sooner than later and see what else is really goin on.....
