JJ Riley

I was born in Sarasota, FL. My family and I moved to Covington, GA. in 1970. I started playing drums in 1977 @ 11 years old. I took lessons from Dick Pike, drummer for Henry Mancini (Original Pink Panther Theme). Lessons for 2 years then started playing live. My first show was in Peachtree City @ the Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater. I joined a club band @ 13 years old and started playing around Atlanta and the southeast. I had to have a permit that allowed me to play in night clubs since I was so young. I started learning how to play guitar @ 15. I picked up the bass later on and have actually played bass guitar in a couple of bands. Drums are my first love, but I love music and will fill any position needed. I played Christian rock for several years. I am currently playing with Brent Daniel and Jonny Hibbert, having the best time of my life. It’s been a wild ride but its fun. My wife Sandy is the best.
