Quag II

A once incomprehensibly obscure band name...

About Me

Formed in 1973 as Quagmire, in Tonbridge and Sealchart, split up in 1974, in Hadlow (?), reformed in Paris (as Quag II) in 2005 for 3 hours of which 26 minutes was recorded (why only 26 minutes Fabien?), and played live in October that year at The Forum in Tunbridge Wells for 10 minutes. Such is the primordial time bog that The Quaggies trapse through...
Reconvened on 15/7/07 for another 30 minutes...

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: alienpiers.org
Band Members: Brad Scott, Jez Yates-Round, Fill Mills, Mark Eason and Mark Fielder as stand-in drummer for the first gig in 1974; Brad Scott, Arnaud and Mark Eason for The Reformation in 2005 with Steven Martin as the stand-in drummer for the second gig in Oct 2005 (all 10 minutes of it) and with Paul Jothy on drums for the July 2007 and June 2008 sessions (also in Paris). We don't mess around (we're "quaggies" after all...).This band is now officially "French".

Influences: Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Byzantium, Benny Hill. Those weird tracks you heard on Radio Caroline in the middle of the night after falling asleep with the radio on in the summer of 1976, never to be heard or located again.

Sounds Like: "Roz The Hipcat" at choir practice meets George Formby and Ozzie Osbourne over a jar of Breton cider and do a jig to a 30 minute Rare Earth jam skypecasted across 30 years backwards on medium wave late at night?
Record Label: The Alien Piers Organisation
Type of Label: Indie
